About
I am a Senior Lecturer and Distinguished Associate Research Fellow at Stirling College, Chengdu University (CDU), specializing in Computer Vision, Explainable AI, and Deep Learning Applications. My research addresses critical challenges in image segmentation, infrastructure inspection automation, and medical image analysis.
I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from Southwest Jiaotong University (China, 2021), an M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Hyderabad (India, 2015), and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Aleppo University (Syria, 2011). My professional experience includes roles as Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Lecturer at Southwest Jiaotong University and the SWJTU-LEEDS Joint School.
My research focuses on developing multi-scale segmentation architectures and hybrid deep learning frameworks that achieve robust performance with minimal labeled data. Through innovative attention mechanisms and iterative refinement techniques, I bridge advanced AI methodologies with practical applications in infrastructure monitoring and medical diagnostics.
